Institute

What is Institute?

One of the fundamental ways Jesus calls us to make disciples is to teach. Every Sunday morning at 9am we gather in a classroom-like setting to participate in the teaching of the Word. Over the course of the year we strive to be equipping disciples in every aspect of the Christian life.

Our Curriculum

Fall:
Bible and Basics

In our fall course our goal is to get to the fundamentals. As disciples we need to know the Scriptures and the basics of our Christian walk. We’ll teach classes like: Philippians, How to Read the Bible, and Old Testament Survey.

Winter:
Theology and Doctrine

Our winter course is focused on ensuring we as a church are holding firmly to sound doctrine. Sound practice is always rooted in sound doctrine. Our classes include: The Trinity, The Church, and The Attributes of God.

Spring:
Christian Discipleship

Our Spring Course will take a shift toward practical theology. Discipleship and the teaching ministry of the church should be equipping members to do the work of ministry. Some of those classes are: Deep Discipleship, How Do I Grow?, and Biblical Worship.

Summer:
Christian Life and Witness

During the summer we give to time to consider how Scripture guides our ordinary lives in the world as well as our witness in the world. This includes everything from classes on family and work to missions and evangelism. Some of those include: Marriage and Family, Stewardship, and Apologetics.
